To all of you who have been waiting for this moment, the time is NEAR, dear friends. In the last several months I’ve had some seriously great opportunities come my way and I’ve tried to take advantage of every one of them! Recently in the months of December and January I joined forces with a Blues Band that meets every Wednesday in downtown Asheville @ Timo’s House for their Blues Jam. Boy, did I take a crash course for this one! As their guest singer, Wednesday’s have become not only a complete blast (singing with phenomenal players behind me) but also an amazing humbling and learning experience. If you get the chance to come out one of these Wednesdays, please DO! (And bring your instruments with you!)
In OTHER news, I’ve also joined a Wedding Band as their singer and rhythm guitar player. We call ourselves the Asheville Rhythm Section. We are in the process of learning a popular list of top 40 tunes (including my originals!) for events and weddings in the hopes to have a VERY busy Spring/Summer/Fall season. Through the course of meeting these musicians and singing with them, I’ve decided to put to use their awesome talents and schedule a few BAND gigs with some of the players that make up these bands. I am currently posting these gigs on my UPCOMING SHOWS TAB so that you all can mark your calendars and come! I know having all that extra sound behind me has been a long time coming, and let me tell you it’s a refreshing thing to say the least. I appreciate all the support and love I’ve received in my efforts to do what I love. Please continue to check out the new things that are happening in my music career.
